Meet the team

Richard R McAlpin is the President and founder of McAlpin Group.  Richard has over twenty-five years experience in commercial real estate development, condominium & hotel development and ownership, and other business ventures.  He is also a founder and director of First American Bank, now Bank of Pensacola, a Synovus affiliate and is an organizer and director  of the First National Bank of Baldwin County, a community bank located in Foley, Alabama.  He is the present Chair of the Board of Directors for the Gulf Coast Kids House.

Hugh Hiott is the site selection and project construction coordinator.  Hugh has over thirty years experience in commercial development and real estate.  His experience includes construction of single-family subdivisions, apartment projects, and high-rise condominiums.  Additionally, Hugh is a real estate broker and negotiates the purchases and sales of all our developments.

Alan Williams oversees the hotel management  and development division of the company.  Alan has over twenty years experience in the hospitality industry in management and development.  Additionally, he assists in all aspects of design and site selection for the company's projects.  Alan is also a licensed real estate agent.
